Golf

There are a full range of tennis facilities for visitors to enjoy in the Algarve, and the regions' wonderful climate makes playing possible all-year round. Numerous courts and clubs offer the chance to perfect technique whilst making the most of the glorious sunshine.

Horse riding
Horse riding is a relaxing and enjoyable way to see the Algarve, with many established riding stables offering plenty of trails. Water sports

Diving
With its rocky coastline, the Algarve is considered one of the best places to scuba-dive in Europe, with divers rewarded by the sight of numerous wrecks, reefs and caves and a host of different fish species. Diving can be accessed from most of the beaches in the Algarve, with dive schools offering instruction and guided dives for every level.

Sailing
Sailing is widely available throughout the Algarve, and this is one of the best ways to view the stunning coastline, with its interesting rock formations, cliffs and caves. Visit one of the numerous sailing and yacht clubs to find out about cruises and boat hire.

Deep-sea fishing
The Algarve has plenty to offer every enthusiast, and the region is known as one of the best places in Europe to enjoy deep-sea fishing. Many companies offer exciting excursions in search of species such as shark, marlin, redfish, bass, blue fish and tuna, and trips are offered catering to every level of experience, departing from various locations along the Algarve coastline.

Family days out
From Zoomarine in Guia, to Krazy World in Silves, the Algarve offers plenty of theme parks for the family. As well as  cooling down at one of the many water-parks, try go-karting at Almancil or a fun boat-trip dolphin watching.
