The tourist resort of Alcudia sits on the north-east coast of Majorca, and enjoys a typically Mediterranean climate - subtropical, with long hot summers and mild winters. With an average annual temperature of between 18-20C and plenty of sunshine all year round, Alcudia has an ideal temperate climate for holidaymakers and remains a popular choice with families. Its northerly location means that temperatures are slightly lower here than the rest of the island, with the resort being protected by the strong Tramuntana winds that blow across Majorca.

Weather in Alcudia - Great climate for the beach, not too hot with plenty of sunshine
The summer season in Alcudia runs from April to November, with the beginning of the season seeing temperatures starting at 14C and rising to 18C in May. The weather during these months is extremely pleasant, and conditions are perfect for exploring the beautiful countryside and enjoying some sightseeing on the island. In June, the temperature rises to 22C, with the peak months of July and August seeing enjoyable highs of 25C, ideal for relaxing on the beach and making the most of the many water sports on offer in the resort. The water temperature remains at 26C in the height of the season and hovers at around 18C during the spring months.

The hot temperate climate of Alcudia sees little rainfall during the summer season, with the period from late May to September being very dry. October is the wettest month, receiving 76mm of rain, with November and December seeing around 50mm. During these months the climate remains mild, with temperatures staying around 11-14C, and the coldest months of January and February only dropping down to 10C. The winter sees the most variable conditions in Alcudia, with changeable weather and cool evenings.
