Many of the hotels in Alcudia are situated on the beach-front and offer a host of family-friendly activities, with kids clubs, family rooms and swimming pools.
Holidays to Alcudia – Things to do Alcudia is home to some great bars and restaurants, catering to all tastes and budgets, with some of the best places to eat located down at the port, beside the scenic harbour. Nightlife tends to centre around the hotels, and there are a few discos in the resort. There is a wide range of shops throughout the resort, and the traditional market takes place on Tuesday and Sunday. Boat trips are available in Alcudia, and other activities include a water-park, go-karting and horse-back riding. The coastal resort of Alcudia lies close to the Old Town of the same name, a short trip just 3km inland. An old Roman town, Alcudia has a fascinating history and the walled city with its’ narrow streets offers a delightful day trip, with guided walking tours available. Also of interest are some roman ruins and an amphitheatre which sit nearby.
