Agadir weather Situated on the Atlantic coast of southwest Morocco, the seaport town of Agadir enjoys a moderate climate, and generally sees Mediterranean-like weather throughout the year. With warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine, the dry summers are the best time to visit, and an ideal time to take advantage of the miles of wonderful beaches and extensive tourist facilities.
Weather in Agadir - Warm dry summers, cooling trade winds The sheltered port of Agadir boasts over 300 days of sunshine each year, and an average annual temperature of 19C. Spring temperatures see highs of around 17C-19C, with Agadir receiving only a maximum of around 40mm of rain during April and May. Rainfall during the summer months is practically non-existant, and during these dry summer months the sun shines for an average of 10 hours a day, with an abundance of cloudless blue skies. The region sees average temperatures of between 20C and 23C's between June and August, and occasional highs reaching 28C. Southwest trade winds blow along the coastline, serving to keep the temperatures down a little, and together with an average water temperature of 18C, help to create excellent surfing conditions for enthusiasts.
Agadir weather - Mild wet winters, still seeing plenty of sunshine Autumn sees temperatures slightly higher than those in the spring, averaging around 19C-21C. The winters tend to be mild, with Agadir still experiencing a minimum of 7 hours of sunshine each month. Average highs in December and January continue to remain pleasant at around 14C-15C, with the winter seeing temperatures dropping only to 10C. October sees the start of the rain, with the period between December and March being the wettest. Precipitation is at its highest in the month of December, with almost 200mm of rain falling each year.
