Our Review of Africa... Hard to sum up all that Africa offers in a few words. Egypt offers classic ancient Egypt sightseeing tours but is increasingly known for its modern, lively Red Sea beach resorts like Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada. Highly-rated Red Sea diving attracts beginners and experts alike. Tropical Gambia combines superb sandy beaches at Cape Point, Kotu and Kololi with exotic wildlife excursions on the Gambia River. There are characterful resorts like Bamburi Beach, Kilifi or Kikambala on the staggeringly beautiful white sands of Kenya, which is also a favourite choice for rewarding, well-organised safari holidays. Morocco offers astonishing variety, whether walking holidays in the Atlas Mountains, the exotic city of Marrakech or more conventional beach holidays at Agadir and Essaouira. South Africa is a fascinating, diverse country with vibrant cities like Durban and Cape Town, amazing resorts like Sun City, and first-class diving, golf, safaris and luxury hotels. Mediterranean Tunisia resorts like Hammamet, Skanes and Sousse are established favourites for beach holidays in Africa, with the added plus of atmospheric desert excursions, sleepy Berber villages, walled medinas, bustling souks and mosques. Africa’s climate makes it an obvious candidate for winter sun holidays.
Customer Reviews of Africa...
“I’m still amazed how few holidaymakers explore Africa. Any Africa package holiday will open your eyes to the beauty of this amazing continent. Impossible to compare Egypt and South Africa. Go to both!” Mr E Harris, Hereford UK
“There’s nothing like a holiday in Marrakech to recharge my batteries. It’s still incredibly exotic despite the tourism. There is surely no country so close to Europe that is so fascinatingly different.” Mr B Miles, Tyne and Wear UK
“Gambia was a revelation. We were really enchanted by the atmosphere in general. Lovely relaxed pace, friendly people and what beaches! Gambia has made us a lot more confident about returning to Africa.” Mrs H Clarke, Bristol UK
