Weather in Adele - Hot Mediterranean climate in traditional Cretan village
The traditional village of Adele lies 8km east of Rethymnon, on the north coast of Crete, and is situated just 2km inland. The resort experiences a hot dry climate which is typically Mediterranean, and sees high temperatures and plenty of glorious sunshine throughout the year.  
 
Adele Weather - Spring sunshine, and soaring summer temperatures
The spring months experience lovely warm weather in Adele, with March and April seeing highs of 17C - 20C, and as much as 8 hours of sunshine each day. March still receives around 80mm of rain during the month, and by April, the village only sees 30mm. As May arrives, the daytime temperature is up to 24C, with 10 hours of sun, and there are pleasant night-time highs of 15C, with just 14mm of monthly rainfall. Humidity rises in June, and the daytime temperature increases to 28C, with an average of 12 hours of sunshine throughout the summer months. Rainfall is non-existent in both July and August, when the average highs remain around 30C. Many visitors head to the shores of the north coast during this peak season, to relax on the beaches and swim in the warm waters of the Sea of Crete, which hover around 24C - 25C.    
 
Weather in Adele - Mild winters, but increased rainfall
September remains hot and sunny in Adele, with highs of 27C, and an much as 10 hours of daily sunshine. Even October enjoys temperatures of 23C, accompanied by 6 hours of sun, and only in November does the weather start to cool, dropping to 20C. Winters see mild conditions, with the coldest month of January experiencing daytime highs of 14C, however there is more rain, as much as 142mm each month.
