Village

Beaches
With its convenient location just 2km inland, sun-worshippers can explore the northern coast of Crete, and relax on local beaches such as Adele Beach, Adelianos Kampos, Perivolia, and Panormos. Water sports lovers can try their hand at jet-skiing, water-skiing and parasailing, as well as scuba-diving.
 
Walking & Hiking
Set amidst the agricultural hillsides, the village is ideal for walkers and hikers looking to explore the Cretan countryside, with mule paths and trails through the olive groves, fruit trees and surrounding farmland. A popular trek is to the nearby village of Agia Paraskevi, just 3km away.
 
Cycling
Bicycle rental is available in the area, for those keen on exploring the region, and there are organised group rides that take cyclists throughout the scenic mountains of the region. Quad bike tours are also available.
 
Rethymnon
Just a few kilometers east of the village lies the third-largest town on Crete, Rethymnon, boasting a host of interesting sights and plenty of entertainment and attractions. From the charming Venetian harbour and Turkish mosques, to the famous archaeological museum and choice of modern boutiques, this historic town is a must-see for visitors on a holiday in Adele.
 
Day Trips
There are many boat trips departing from Rethymnon along the coast, with other places to visit from Adele including the Samaria Gorge, Knossos and Heraklion.
