The long summer season in Acharavi stretches from April through November. By April the temperature will have crept over the 20C level and will not usually dip below this mark until the end of November. The climate here will be hot during the summer months but unlike the southern islands the heat is never excessive. Sea temperature during the summer will be a very warm 25C making it the perfect temperature for swimming, snorkelling, and diving. The beaches at Acharavi and nearby Roda and Kassiopi will be the ideal place to spend the long hot summer days.
